The research group “Genetics of Psychiatric Disorders” arises within the Spanish Genotyping Center (CeGen), financed by Genoma España, as a pilot project on genetics of mental disorders between the node of University of Santiago de Compostela and the node of Barcelona (CRG group, Dr Xavier Estivill). This group stregthened after joining the Genotyping and Psychiatric Genetics Network, thematic network of corporative research from Instituto de Salud Carlos III.
